September · Meet Marcus Delzell

Unchained.Art launched its new monthly program with Austin multidisciplinary artist Marcus Delzell in September 2026:
Delzell's practice spans oil painting, drawing, video, and theater. He investigates identity, perception, and the tension between authenticity and performance. Drawing on Greek mythology and the metaphor of the mask, his compositions examine the human psyche and the narratives we impose on ourselves and others.
Delzell will exhibit several paper-based drawings publicly for the first time.
His work stays on view through October 3, when the next Austin Artist of the Month takes over the wall.

Meet Lisa Loudermilk

Join us for the 1st Sunday Opening on October 4, 12 - 4 PM and meet the artist.
Unchained.Art continues its Austin Artist of the Month program with Austin-based painter Lisa Loudermilk. Loudermilk joins us on October 4 to introduce her work, talk through her process, and walk visitors through what is on view. This is an informal afternoon: come ask questions, look at the work, and meet the artist.
Loudermilk's paintings push minimalism past its own limits. She calls it Baroque Modernism: paint rolled and cut with plastic tools, metallic films sealed under resin, every previous layer staying visible in the final work. The result shifts depending on where you stand and how the light hits it.
Her work stays on view through October 31, when the next Austin Artist of the Month takes over the wall.
